Twinkl to shine at Wards Exchange in Sheffield
Twinkl, a pioneering South Yorkshire creator and supplier of primary school teaching resources, has taken 5,550 sq ft of quality office space at Wards Exchange in Ecclesall Road in Sheffield.
Leading Sheffield-based property consultants Commercial Property Partners (CPP) negotiated the deal on behalf of JF Finnegan, the developers of Wards Exchange.
Twinkl is relocating to Wards Exchange from unsuitable premises on Little London Road, near Woodseats Road, as part of an expansion drive.
Rob Darrington, partner specialising in office agency at CPP, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Twinkl to Wards Exchange. As the company expands, it needs premises to accommodate new staff and to reflect the quality of its work. Wards Exchange fits the bill perfectly.
“The 35,000 sq ft, seven-storey building is located at the gateway of the popular Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, close to the city centre and inner ring road. It is part of the redevelopment of the iconic Wards Brewery site by J F Finnegan, which was completed in 2008.
“It provides quality accommodation in a contemporary environment and has large flexible floor plates, up to 5,550 sq ft per floor, with a total of 35 car parking spaces. This letting puts Wards Exchange on the map and we are expecting strong interest in the space left in the rest of the building,” added Mr Darrington.
Nick Gillott, Director from the developers J F Finnegan, said: “We are delighted to welcome such a creative and successful company as Twinkl to Wards Exchange. We are very proud of this development and look forward to more successful lettings as the economy emerges from recession and the commercial property market continues to pick up momentum.”
Commercial Property Partners and Crossland Otter Hunt were the joint letting agents on Wards Exchange.
