Garbutt & Elliott strike gold with Praxity
Praxity, the world’s largest alliance of independent accountancy firms, has been named as The Association of the Year at the 2014 International Accountancy Awards.
David Dickson, a member of the 11-man governing body of Praxity and Senior Partner at the Yorkshire firm Garbutt & Elliott with offices in Leeds and York, commented: “The award confirms our belief that we, as an alliance with member firms in 97 countries, deliver an unrivalled service”.
He added that Garbutt & Elliott will be attending the Praxity Global Conference later this month to further cement the relationships the firm has with its associates around the world.
Mr Dickson will also be speaking at the Praxity Central & South American Conference on areas in which Praxity clients and firms can work more closely with Central and South America.
Graeme Gordon, Praxity Executive Director, commented: “Having previously been recognised as a Rising Star Association and now Association of the Year, it is clear we are going from strength to strength.
Praxity has annual revenues of $4.1 billion and over 33,000 staff.
