The Fat Bull restaurant to open second venue in Wheelton
Leisure property specialists Fleurets have facilitated the leasehold sale of the Red Cat in Wheelton, Chorley.
Sam Crompton, who runs the first Fat Bull restaurant in Ashton-in-Makerfield, plans to open a second venue in Wheelton on the former premises of the Red Cat.
Following the planned refurbishment and re-branding, The Fat Bull is expected to open in mid October.
Ian Taylor from Fleurets Manchester office said: “The new owner, Sam Crompton and his team are very excited about bringing ‘The Fat Bull’ to Wheelton.
“This venture will be their second restaurant and one that will emulate the success of their first Fat Bull restaurant in Ashton-in-Makerfield.”
Ian Taylor said: “ I am especially pleased Fleurets were involved in selling the lease, as I live locally and friends and I shall be using the restaurant.“
Sam Crompton said “The Fat Bull is an exciting, contemporary, British restaurant concept serving freshly prepared, proper food with an extensive bar and cellar selection to complement. “We hope that those who love dining out in the area will embrace ‘The Fat Bull’s’ service-oriented experience and it will become their restaurant destination of choice.”
