The High Street Group continues expansion with the launch of High Street Timeshare Claims
Successful local claims experts aim to assist those mis-sold a timeshare in the past 6 years.
High Street Financial Claims, another High Street Group company, have been helping clients successfully recover losses from mis-sold financial products for several years, and have already recovered thousands owed to clients from one of the UKs biggest mis-selling scandals, Payment Protection Insurance (PPI).
High Street Timeshare Claims will utilise this experience and process, and will be helping clients who were victims of Timeshare and Holiday Club Membership scams. Unlike many companies dealing with timeshare claims globally, High Street Timeshare Claims will follow their ethos of operating on a no win, no fee basis.
Claims will be processed by teaming up with local solicitors who specialise in Section 75 claims. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 gives credit card users protection in the event they suffer from a breach of contract or misrepresentation when buying goods.
It removes the risk that people could be put into debt for goods or services that weren’t received at all, were faulty, or were otherwise not as described. It also provides protection for purchases made from companies that then go bust before the service can be provided - such as a flight or concert.
In these circumstances, the law holds the credit card company jointly liable with the retailer, meaning you can claim a refund from your card provider if you’re unable to get it from the retailer.
Chris Imrie has been appointed to head up the new High Street Timeshare Claims business, and brings with him over 10 years of experience, including claims management processing, customer acquisition and intelligence, and process strategy.
Chris Imrie said of the career move: “I’ve worked with The High Street Group independently over the years and the opportunity to be part of their team and lead this new project forward opens up some exciting new challenges for me.”
Operations director at The High Street Group, Phil Brumwell said, ’After our success with PPI claims, we felt it was a natural expansion into assisting consumers who feel they were mis sold Timeshares.
“We’re delighted to have Chris heading up the High Street Timeshare Claims team, it was vital that we had someone with extensive knowledge of the claims process and Chris’s professionalism, determination and drive is integral to growing this part of the business.”
The High Street Group was established in 2004, and is one of the most progressive and entrepreneurial companies in the North East.
The Group has experience in Wealth & Debt Management, Business Finance and Developer Finance and recently expanded into Property Development & Technology. For more information, visit www.timeshareclaims.com
