Warrington's Surf and Turf lands RBS funding to help expansion

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has given Surf & Turf Instant Shelters Limited a six figure funding package to facilitate the acquisition of new premises.

The Warrington based company has purchased a building adjacent to its existing offices and warehouse facility on Tatton Court, Kingsland Grange

The two buildings are to be merged to create one large unit that will accommodate the growing business

The move follows on from the acquisition of an additional unit on the same industrial estate last year.

The company plans to now sell this and relocate operations from this building to the new unit which will help to improve operational efficiency and accommodate the businesses growth plans.

The family-run business currently employs twelve members of staff including Simon’s wife, Corinne and adult children Daniel and Katie. Surf & Turf Instant Shelters client base ranges from blue-chip companies, local councils through to one-man bands and motorsport teams and competitors.

Simon Lunt, managing director of Surf & Turf Instant Shelters Limited said: “We are thrilled that RBS has supported us in the purchase of our new premises.

“By acquiring our neighbouring building and consolidating our facilities into one unit we will benefit enormously from improvements in logistics and efficiency. We can now keep the print and design team all under one roof.

“The merger of the two buildings will also provide us with plenty of extra capacity to accommodate our planned growth both in the UK and abroad.”
