Carnival fever sweeps the glittering Victoria Quarter
The Victoria Quarter in Leeds has welcomed more than 8,500 visitors to its annual Shopping Affair.
The carnival-themed event saw shoppers enjoy exclusive promotions, competitions and complimentary refreshments in many of the 72 luxury retailers.
Aerial artists, steel drums and acrobats entertained shoppers whilst they browsed their favourite brands at the one-night-only occasion.
Shoppers were able to park for free in facilities off Eastgate on Templar Street, Lady Lane and Edward Street, and guests were also given the chance to enter a prize draw to win a luxury holiday to Jamaica, courtesy of Kuoni Travel.
John Bade, Centre Manager at the Victoria Quarter said, “The Shopping Affair really is Yorkshire’s favourite shopping event, and we’re thrilled with the success of the evening this year.
“For our customers, luxury shopping is much more than buying an expensive gift or something for yourself, it’s about an all-round enjoyable experience. To see so many people enjoying themselves at the Victoria Quarter was fantastic”.
The Victoria Quarter is home to more than 70 of the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands including Louis Vuitton, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Church’s, LK Bennett, Reiss, and Kiehl’s.
