Sanderson Weatherall named North East’s most active agent

Chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall is celebrating after being named the Most Active commercial property Agent in the North East by Estates Gazette for the third year running.

In the past year, Sanderson Weatherall’s Newcastle and Teesside teams have let or sold a total of over 1.8 million sq ft comprising 1,480,827 sq ft of industrial space, 227,717 sq ft of office space and 128,396 sq ft of retail space across the region. The company’s largest deal in the North East was of 160,000 sq ft of industrial space.

Sanderson Weatherall’s head of commercial agency, Robert Patterson, said: “We are delighted to be named as the North East’s most active agent for the third consecutive year. The firm, which has offices in Newcastle, Teesside and Darlington, was awarded the title in Estates Gazette Interactive’s Deals Competition. The Deals Competition celebrates the number of transactions completed between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014 and is widely recognised as one of the top accolades for real estate agents.
