Voice Marketing support day raises £1,000 plus for Neurocare

AWARD winning Sheffield contact centre specialists Voice Marketing have raised more than £1,000 in one day for city charity Neurocare after hearing how it helped support a staff member and her family.

The Voice teams at both the company’s Woodseats and Broomhill sites raised £1,170 by holding a dress down day, sponsored blindfolded walk, an in-house café selling a variety of homemade foods and sponsored chest and legs waxes, T-Shirt sales and a raffle.

The activity was prompted by Voice Quality Manager Samantha Dye’s personal experience of Neurocare’s high levels of support.

“After my dad had a stage five brain haemorrhage it has been and still is, a very challenging time for me and my family,” Samantha explained.

“Neurocare have helped and supported us all throughout this ordeal and raising this money was the least I could do to ensure that they continue to help other families.”

Voice Marketing Communications Manager Abbigale Wallis said: “We were delighted to set up this day for Samantha and raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, which has supported her and her family during this time.

“We hope that the money raised will go towards their continued incredible work for people in South Yorkshire.”

Corin McCann, Senior Fundraiser, Neurocare added: “We’re so grateful to Voice Marketing for raising such a fantastic amount of money for us.

“This will help us to continue our funding of life-saving equipment and facilities for patients and their families on the neuro wards at Sheffield’s NHS Teaching Hospitals.

“Thank you to everyone who got involved and helped raise the money!”
