Yorkshire door manufacturer to open new Leeds factory creating over 30 jobs
Yorkshire manufacturer, Express Bi-folding Doors, has announced the opening of a large new factory on the outskirts of Leeds.
The new premises will create 30 initial new jobs, with more job creation expected in 2015.
Business owner Steve Bromberg started Express Bi-Folding Doorsin 2007 and is now in its seventh year. The company comprises of 137 employees working across the full process, from manufacture to installation, of in excess of 20 Yorkshire-made door, window and roofing products.
With a 30% increase in turnover forecast for 2015, the company will be looking for more new starters regionally and nationwide.
Managing director Steve said, “Our region is at the heart of our business model, so we’re thrilled to be opening this new factory just ten minutes outside the centre of Leeds.
“As the business grows, we need new fabricators and administrators in the factory, as well as sales staff in Leeds, London and the new showroom in Glasgow. It’s a really exciting time for us.”
