Entrepreneurs team up to launch new wedding website

Four entrepreneurs and business owners from the North East have teamed up as wedding industry suppliers to give the region a new type of wedding website, the likes of which have only been seen in America so far.

After speaking to their individual clients they discovered there was no one specific place for ‘brides and grooms to be’ to look for wedding guidance. So they combined their expertise and put their heads together to create a technical website that lets you search for wedding inspiration right down to particular details such as colour, era, style and theme. But best of all, keeping it local.

Suppliers from the wedding industry are writing valued content and advice to help brides and grooms, rather than a sales pitch. There is also an option for couples who are already married to submit their wedding which can be used to inspire newly engaged couples.

The site will go live on October 17th and has already had over 1000 requests to sign up and follow the blog, and weddings being submitted right back from 1928.

Other elements of the site are being built behind the scenes and will remain top secret until the launch.

Amy Murray, bride to be from Ponteland, responded to the news of the blog positively saying: “It is about time we have somewhere to go which doesn’t involve jumping from site to site, going to wedding fairs and flicking through magazines. With a push of a button I will be able to see my individual wedding interests, and what’s even better is that I know all weddings and suppliers are from the North East.”
