Ten out of ten! ABP celebrates ten years of enterprise in Doncaster
Having launched its Doncaster site in 2004, ABP, provider of world-class meat products, is celebrating ten years of enterprise in Yorkshire. As one of the town’s major employers, the company has grown significantly since first establishing in the area and is now responsible for over 850 local employees.
The ten-year anniversary falls as the premium food processor also celebrates its long-standing partnership with major retailer, ASDA. The partnership, of over 40 years, has been a major contributor to ABP’s success and growth.
To mark the two achievements, ABP congratulated its long-serving members of staff. Having originally employed 250 local people, ten remain employed by ABP today – demonstrating the positive impact the company continues to have as a major employer.
ABP General Manager at Doncaster, Katharine Haenelt, commented: “We are delighted to mark ten years of dynamic growth and our partnership with ASDA. We take great pride in our long-term customer relationships and constantly invest in our business to ensure they receive outstanding service year on year. In a highly competitive market, the length of the partnership is testimony to the strong performance of the team at Doncaster.” Katharine continued: “The fact that so many members of our team have served with us since we established in the area, is an achievement in itself. We are confident that the positive impact we have on the local economy will continue as our business expands and diversifies both on a local and national scale.”
