Fletchers Solicitors sponsor charity ball which raises thousands for spinal injury centre
Southport-based medical negligence and personal injury law firm, Fletchers Solicitors, sponsored a black tie charity ball in aid of the North West Regional Spinal Injury Centre.
Over 100 people attended the event at the Southport’s Ramada Plaza which included entertainment from singer Billy Strand, magicians and fire and stilt performers.
A raffle and a silent charity auction also took place, helping to raise over £11,000 for the centre, which provides care, treatment and rehabilitation to those who have suffered a spinal cord injury. Each year around 1,200 people in the UK suffer a spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis and the money will go towards buying much needed equipment to assist the people the centre treats every year.
Ed Fletcher, CEO of Fletchers Solicitors, said: “It was a fantastic night for a very worthwhile cause. I’d like to thank everyone who made the event such a success, from the organisers, sponsors and entertainers to our incredibly generous guests raising funds through the raffle and the silent auction.”
