Network King event raises funds for Sheffield Eagles Include Foundation

Network King has raised £1,500 at its annual dinner in support of the Sheffield Eagles Include Foundation and the Jerome Wilson Rehabilitation Fund.

Guests at the awards event, held at the Genting Club in Sheffield on 2nd October 2014, gave generously on the evening to win prizes donated by Mazars, Leonard Curtis, Genting Casinos, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Sheffield Eagles and Medispa S10.

The black tie dinner hosted by Karl Hodson of Finance Yorkshire and Richard Pinder of Leonard Curtis is now in its fifth year and continues to grow each year with 150 guests in attendance.

The event aims to be a light hearted review of the year and is attended by professionals from all over Yorkshire.

Karl Hodson said “The dinner started as just a small event but has grown in popularity so much that we sold out within two weeks of selling tickets! The unique take on an awards event combined with good food at an affordable price seems to strike a chord with the professional community”.

The Include Foundation is the charitable arm of the Sheffield Eagles and aims to provide sporting, educational and health opportunities to people within the Sheffield City Region.

The Jerome Wilson Rehabilitation Fund was set up by Coldwell Boxing to support Sheffield boxer Jerome Wilson who sustained serious injuries after being knocked out in a recent boxing match.

Richard Pinder commented “We have supported the Include Foundation for a number of years and the work they do in the local community is fantastic.

“This year we also wanted to help Jerome Wilson with his rehabilitation and it is great news that he is making such remarkable progress.”

Spencer Fearn from Coldwell Boxing added “we are all delighted and extremely grateful for the funds raised by Network King, it is a fantastic gesture and the money will go towards the rehabilitation of Jerome, which will be a long process. All of us at Coldwell Boxing and the family of Jerome cannot thank everyone enough”
