Monster stunt and firework spectacular

One of the country’s most exhilarating and illuminating stunt shows is set to explode with excitement in Bradford next month.

The annual Monster Stunt and Firework Spectacular returns to the Bradford Bulls’ Provident Stadium on Saturday, November 1.

The event will see airborne daredevils performing a range of death-defying stunts on BMX and freestyle bikes, motor-cross bikes, monster trucks, drift cars and even a 20-tonne fire engine.

And the show is guaranteed to end with a bang culminating in an awe inspiring fireworks display.

Anthony Anderson, who produces the renowned Extreme Stunt Shows across Europe, said: “We have just finished our summer season with the Extreme Stunt Show but wanted to make sure Fireworks Night came in with a huge bang this year.

“The show is all about Big Air - it literally takes things to a new level with our stunt riders getting airborne and battling out to get as high as they can whether they are on a lightweight BMX or in our record-breaking Monster Trucks.

“It promises to be truly spectacular with the audience keeping their feet firmly on the ground while the Extreme Team take to the air to battle it out.”

Making a debut appearance at the Monster Stunt and Firework Show will be 20-year-old Alan Vaughan, Europe’s youngest monster truck driver.

Alan will be behind the wheel of awesome monster truck Slingshot, which was one of the stars of the Bahrain Motor Show, while the world record breaking trucks Lil’ Devil and Extreme – each pulling 2000 horsepower – will demonstrate what car crushing and getting big air is all about.

Over at the BMX track, pedal power takes centre stage where talented young Extreme riders will prove that plenty of stamina, technique and guts are what it takes to pull off amazing mid-air tricks and jumps.

But keep your heads up for the Extreme FMX team who will be flying through the air with their own range of cliffhangers, nac-nacs and supermans.

And that’s not all. The Monster Stunt and Firework Show will also feature a street bike freestyle team – who recently featured in Kyle Minogue’s video for Timebomb – performing stoppies, wheelies, burnouts and donuts on neck-turning 1200cc machines.

There will also be displays from a converted 20-tonne fire engine, wowing the crowds by jumping 15ft into the air while shooting high-firing flames and fireballs from its exhaust. And direct from the Nissan Extreme Torque Show, will be the Rocket Bunny car performing the ultimate in car drifting and challenging our drivers’ ability and vehicle control to the max.

Anthony added: “This really is a show with plenty of thrills and spills and plenty of highs. A head for heights is a prerequisite as our boys fly through the air to get the audience adrenaline pumping as they perform their gravity-defying stunts.

“And it all ends with an incredible fireworks display from Aurora Pyrotechnics, one of the leaders in outdoor displays. It’s all the usual chaos and destruction you would expect from the Extreme Stunt Show, but packed full of extra bangs, sparks and fizzles this year!”
