First ever Calderdale Business Summit
The first ever Calderdale Business Summit brought to you by Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Calderdale Council, Dean Clough Mills and Microsoft will take place on 19th November.
Calderdale Business Summit will be a two hour breakfast event for businesses of all sizes and sectors from 07:30-09:30 at Dean Clough Mills.
It will take the form of a networking event over breakfast, followed by a State of the District style Q&A session with some of Calderdale’s leading business people.
Panel members include Merran McRae, Chief Executive of Calderdale Council, Lee Kenny, Chief Executive of Snowflake Media, Vicky Atkinson the Audit Director of Riley and Co, Mark Haigh MD at Century Dyeing Company and Paul Walters Director of Limetree Europe. The panel will be chaired by Mark Thompson, Head of Service for Calderdale Council.
This event will engage with the Calderdale business community around how the district can grow now that the new Economic Strategy has been announced by Calderdale Council. Each of the panel members will present the State of the District within their sector, opening up to questions from the floor.
The event will also see the launch of a new website which aims to attract inward investment, support local businesses, and raise the profile of Calderdale.
All places are FREE and all businesses welcome, but book quick as this is the first of its kind to be held in Calderdale and places are filling fast.
