V1 appoints new Sales Director to boost channel strategy and drive cloud growth
Market leading business automation software provider, V1 announces today that it has appointed Len Richards as its new Sales Director.
Richards has more than 20 years of sales management experience, including 16 years of channel sales covering software, hardware, infrastructure and cloud services. He formerly held senior roles at cloud aggregator, intY Ltd, Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Xerox.
As V1’s Sales Director, Richards will be leading a team of 14 account managers responsible for selling V1’s award-winning document management, learning and training management, professional services automation, procurement and expense management solutions.
Richards said: “V1 is a successful company with passionate people and a customer-focussed, quality-driven culture. Its portfolio expansion and growth over the last 12 months have been impressive and I am looking forward to joining this highly motivated team and driving further growth by building on existing customer relationships and introducing new channels to market.”
Developing V1’s cloud offering and further expanding the partner channel to enhance V1’s customer retention and growth will be a key focus for Richards. This naturally follows his experience in his last role at intY, where he was responsible for increasing partner numbers around cloud aggregation.
“I will be progressing the development of cloud solutions as part of V1’s product portfolio, ensuring we stay at the forefront of our sector and supporting our customers to take advantage of the flexibility and scalability this evolving technology can offer,” said Richards.
Janette Martin, V1’s Managing Director, said: “Len has a wealth of experience in delivering strong results in both direct and channel sales, and I am confident he has the knowledge and passion to drive forward V1’s growth strategy.”
V1 Ltd is an Advanced Computer Software Group Plc. company.
