360 app still a chart topper with over 5000 downloads
An app developed by East Yorkshire-based 360 Chartered Accountants is proving to be as successful as ever, having now achieved over 5000 downloads since its launch.
360 was the first independent accountancy firm in the area to develop an app for mobile devices, which is regularly the number one accountancy app in the iTunes chart, ahead of many global firms.
As well as up-to-date tax data, tax saving tips and an easy-to-use GPS business mileage tracker, the app also allows users to log their expenses and take photos of receipts as well as warning them when their car parking meter is almost up to avoid fines, before directing the client back to their car!
Andy Steele, Director at 360 Chartered Accountants, said:
“The app is one of the best single investments we’ve ever made and is attracting interest from all over the world. We’re always looking at ways in which we can help our clients work as effectively and conveniently as possible. As technology moves on, it is up to us to keep at the forefront of these changes. And we’re keen to pass our knowledge on.
“So as well as attracting new clients who find us through the app, we’ve also helped a number of businesses develop apps for their business. It’s an area we hope to continue to grow in the future, especially given the exciting developments expected in Hull’s digital sector over the next few years.”
Since its launch in July 2012, more than 4000 Apple users have downloaded the free app, plus over 1000 more using Android devices.
The 360 app is available on iPhone, iPod, iPad and all Android devices and can be downloaded for free. Just search for ‘accountants’. Or for more information visit www.360accountants.co.uk
