Manchester-based Harbur completes £1.5 million housing development in Barrowford
Manchester-based Harbur Construction has finished a £1.5 million housing scheme at a former mill site in East Lancashire.
Harbur Construction has built the three-bedroom, four-story homes on behalf of private house builder, Rainbow Homes, which took over the scheme after it stalled under previous developers.
Rainbow Homes is a Burnley-based private house builder with numerous projects in Lancashire and Yorkshire.
Harbur Construction is based at Manchester Business Park, near Manchester Airport.
The company was founded in 2009 and specialises in the affordable housing, retail and leisure, commercial, and residential sectors.
It employs 30 staff and has a turnover of £17.5 million.
The Vale Mews development, which comprises of 14 semi-detached town houses, is located at the former Caldervale Mill off Lower Clough Street in the Pendle town of Barrowford.
Properties at the Vale Mews development have been designed by architects Hurd Rolland Partnership.
Managing director at Harbur Construction, Christian Bury, said: “It’s been fulfilling to help bring the scheme back to life and regenerate a key part of the community.
“The properties have been built sensitively using stone-clad exterior to fit in with the character of the surroundings while offering contemporary living for residents.”
