New ABS status allows firm to appoint non-legal equity partner.
Richard Burnett, Head of Marketing and Client services for Hillyer McKeown has been promoted to Equity Partner.
Burnett, who joined the firm in 2011 has been key in driving client engagement activity since joining the firm. Managing Partner of Hillyer McKeown, Steve Harvey, said: “I’m delighted that Hillyer McKeown has successfully applied to become an ABS and that we’ve therefore been able to invite Richard to join us as a partner in the firm. His inclusion is recognition not only of Richard’s ability but the need for a law firm to engage non legal skills to develop the service offering.”
