£6.3 million pre-tax profit for Wilmslow’s Norcros
Cheshire’s Norcros announces its 6 month profits before tax are £6.3 million this is a large increase as their pre-tax profits for the same period last year were just £0.3 million.
The firm say the recovering UK market has positively impacted their business.
The company is a supplier of showers, taps, bathroom accessories, ceramic wall and floor tiles and adhesive products with operations primarily in the UK and South Africa.
Norcros operates under four brands across the UK: Triton Showers, Vado, Johnson Tiles and Norcros Adhesives.
Chairman, Martin Towers, said, “I am pleased to announce another solid set of results for the six months ended 30 September 2014.
“We have seen improved performances across all our businesses despite continued mixed market conditions and a weaker South African Rand.
“With our strong brands, leading market positions and continued self-help initiatives focused on market share gains, the Board remains confident that the Group should continue to make progress in line with market expectations.”
