Compass introduces new ERP system at the Association of Colleges’ Annual Conference
Compass Computer Consultants (Compass), an Advanced Computer Software company, will demonstrate student record system, ProSolution and will talk about its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ProUnify, at the Association of Colleges’ (AoC) Annual Conference on the 18th – 21st November.
ProUnify will be the most complete fully integrated business system available to the FE sector and is expected to be released in spring 2015. It will integrate student records, HR, finance and payroll systems. Compass will be at the conference in hall three on stand 15.
The AoC conference is held at the ICC Birmingham and brings together those working in the further education sector. Its keynote speakers include the Shadow Secretary of State for Education Tristram Hunt MP, Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP and the comedian Alan Davies.
ProUnify will integrate student management information system, ProSolution, with Advanced’s finance, HR and payroll software, enabling staff to streamline processes, improve communication and promote transparency across organisations. As a result, colleges will benefit from significant cost savings and staff time will be freed up to focus on more value-adding activities.
The ERP system will be designed to be easy to use and will also integrate with third party finance, HR and payroll systems. The product launch will make Compass one of the first FE software suppliers to offer a unified system across key management areas in the sector.
Compass will have available literature describing how the system works plus films featuring ProUnify and the wider suite of Compass solutions. Visitors will have access to videos and films about the Compass product suite and the Compass team will be available to talk about future developments.
Andy Makeham, Managing Director of Compass, says, “We have already seen interest in ProUnify from many colleges who recognise the benefits it can bring in reducing data entry, increasing efficiency and improving communication and transparency between departments.
“Visitors to the AoC’s annual conference will be able to speak to our experienced team who will explain how ProUnify will function and gain first-hand insight into how it will help colleges achieve improved efficiency targets.”
Compass, which was acquired by one of the UK’s fastest growing software providers, Advanced Computer Software Group in February 2014, has developed a strong reputation for providing first class solutions and support since it was founded 25 years ago. The business has seen 20% organic growth year on year for the last five years.
Compass’s software is used by 341 out of 350 colleges across England, and an increasing number of councils and private training providers.
