Julianne Ponan steals the show at FSB Awards
Julianne Ponan, 25 year old CEO of Creative Nature, walked away with an impressive three business award trophies at the FSB Surrey Awards at Epsom Racecourse on Friday, including Young Business Person of the Year, Real Life Entrepreneur and the Overall Business Awards Winner.
How the Night Went
The FSB Surrey Awards were set up to showcase the top small businesses from the 60,000 currently operating in Surrey across a number of different categories. The whole evening was presided over by John Allan, Chairman of the FSB, Antonio Falco, Surrey Chairman of the FSB and Peter Martin, deputy leader of Surrey County Council.
Nominated for three awards, Julianne Ponan and her Creative Nature team were visibly ecstatic when they were announced as Runner Up in the Going Green category, their first nominated category of the evening. Things just kept getting better for the inspirational young entrepreneur, as she was named as the winner in both of her final categories, triumphing over some outstanding nominations.
As the champagne flowed and the entertainment got to a fever-pitch, the Overall Winner of the FSB Surrey Awards was announced to raucous applause, with Julianne taking centre stage in front of her peers.
Why Julianne Deserved to Win
2014 has been an incredible year for Julianne and Creative Nature, and fresh young superfood company redefining the health food market in the UK. After taking over the company when it was in heavy losses, Julianne has turned the fortunes around; bringing it into profit and doubling the turnover.
“The two biggest achievements this year, before these FSB Awards were our listing in Tesco (becoming the first UK superfood brand to do so) and winning 2 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards (again, being the only cold-pressed bar to do this). Winning the FSB Awards on Friday is just the icing on the cake and shows that mine, and my colleagues, hard work has been noticed, that all those late nights and lost evenings out weren’t a waste!” Julianne Ponan, Creative Nature CEO
Creative Nature is the first UK superfood brand to be listed in both Tesco and Ocado, with ambitions to launch into further supermarkets in 2015. One of Creative Nature’s products, the Blissful Berry bar, is also the only cold-pressed snack bar to ever win 2 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards.
These company successes have been masterminded by Julianne Ponan and have helped propel her into the business limelight, having been asked to be a keynote speaker at the Business Show in London Olympia in November alongside names like Richard Reed, James Caan and David Gold.
With her company on the rise and her presence in the business world growing, it won’t be long before Julianne Ponan and Creative Nature become household names for success.
