Wallasey set to be blown away by new hair and beauty lounge Star Salon
Leading Liverpool hair and beauty lounge Star Salon is set to open a second outlet in Wallasey.
Following an impressive five-figure sum investment, the new site on Seaview Road aims to mirror the original North Liverpool venue by incorporating multiple state-of-the-art beauty stations and equipment, together with a stylish interior.
Proprietor Kelly McDonald said: “After gaining a reputation across Merseyside for providing hair and beauty excellence, it felt only right to carry out our expansion. The team and I are extremely happy to have secured a three-year lease in the Wirral-based salon, and we hope to become a firm favourite with the locals.
“The objective is to develop Star Salon as a leading North West brand by igniting our passion and creative flair to maximise our clientele. In order to provide quality hair and beauty services and keep our offerings fresh and current - all of our staff members are fully qualified and undertake frequent training to further their skills and keen eye to detail and style.”
After acquiring more than 15 years’ experience in the hair and beauty sector and becoming a Wella Master Colour Expert, Kelly founded Star Salon back in 2010. Now a highly recognised brand, it is the only salon in the North West to have reached the regional final in the global Wella Trend Vision competition.
Kelly added: “The past few months have been very exciting for us, as not only have we introduced a second site, a selection of our hair styling techniques graced the online pages of Vogue Italia. This shows how our brand is becoming increasingly known not only in the North West but now globally!
“We hope that the introduction of our new venue will attract a wider client base and continue to secure our stance as a prominent UK independent.”
