Agile Group Ltd bring in young, fresh marketing team.

There’s a new marketing team in Stockton on tees and they’re already making an impression at IT and Communication company Agile Group based at Portrack lane.

Agile Group have taken on two apprentices and a Marketing Coordinator as they expand their continuously growing company.

Sophie Hobson, Agile’s new Digital Marketing Coordinator who, after finishing her degree in marketing at Teesside University, joined the company on an apprentice scheme and is loving every minute of it. Her day sees her managing the social media, building email campaigns and creating eye catching graphics. Sophie applied for the job as she felt Agile would allow her to be freely creative and that’s exactly what she found, ‘We get a real sense of ownership working at Agile, especially in the Marketing team.’

Agile’s new marketing Coordinator comes from a completely different background, previously having had a successful street food business and marketing for a country estate she joined Agile at the end of the Summer, ready for a new challenge. Her role involves planning marketing collateral, liaising with the product managers to build campaigns, PR and project managing exciting mini projects, soon to be revealed in the New year. Working at Agile, says Emily is exhilarating. ‘The business is so vast, I relished the chance to learn about all the product areas and the whole Agile team naturally bounce off each other, it is a very creative and driven place to work.’ Emily is currently finishing her Business Degree at Teesside University and finds it has helped her in the role, especially when supervising a small marketing team.

The most recent recruit at Agile is Matthew Johnson, their new Market Researcher. He is the fun, sociable Billingham lad who keeps everyone entertained in the office. These qualities are what makes him a fantastic addition to the marketing team. Speaking to clients on the phone is what he does best and he is already smashing targets. He genuinely gets on with everyone and says that ‘the atmosphere we create as a team’ at Agile is his favourite part of working for the company so far.

With new recruits joining before Christmas it is clear to see that Agile’s Managing Director, Simon Scotchbrook is investing in the right kind of people.
