Corecom win two BestFor recruitment awards
Yorkshire based IT recruitment specialist Corecom Consulting has been awarded with two gold awards for the BestFor Recruitment Awards this year.
The awards include ‘BestFor IT & Telecoms,’ and ’BestFor Yorkshire & Humber.
Director Jonathan Sanderson, who has just graduated from the Goldman Sachs Business Program, said: “I am very proud to receive this award. I’m also proud of our team and the hard work they have put in.“
“I’d like to thank our customers for their on-going support which has enabled us to build up to be an award winning consultancy.“
Coupled with the award, Corecom Consulting is going through a strong period of growth. They have recently taken on two new trainee consultants and 80 per cent of their team came through their internal graduate program.
They also took part in the Autumn Graduate Careers Fair held by Leeds Beckett University this year and they’re taking on an Apprentice from the City & Guilds.
The agency are keen to encourage more companies in the North to ditch the unpaid internships and take on more graduates for paid IT jobs straight out of University. To ensure this happens, they are launching a brand new case study on IT Graduate Recruitment.
Jonathan believes that Corecom’s success has come from their in-depth understanding and involvement within the local IT community. The business has launched a string of networking events including Testboss, ITboss and Devboss which have helped them to develop fantastic relationships with their clients.
Their expertise and understanding of the IT market, as well as their passion for the local community in and outside of IT has played a large part in winning these awards. Corecom are excited at the prospect of organising more events and creating more jobs within the North. They also plan on opening new offices in London and Manchester in the coming years.
