Rapid growth demonstrates increasing affluence and desirability of North East’s house buyers

New growth statistics from one of the region’s most influential house builders reveal a growing affluence, desirability and diversity within the North East’s housing market. David Wilson Homes, has announced a 184% growth in sales across its North East division over the past four years – demonstrating a growing appetite from North East house buyers for luxury five star homes.

With the housing market the driving force behind the UK’s economic resurgence this year, these statistics highlight a significant leap in demand for housing stock of all types within the region – with a notable shift to more desirable homes being purchased. In little over four years, David Wilson Homes has planned, built and sold over 315 homes in the region, with a staggering 184% sales increase from July 2010 to July 2014.
