Get ready for your Winter Wedding

A WINTER wedding is always an elegant affair. Candle-lit nights, mulled wine and gleaming crystal are all seasonal favourites, but how can you ensure you’re dressed for the occasion?

Trading Treasures, which will be show-casing it’s wonderful selection of dresses, shoes and hats, at the Hartlepool Enterprise Centre’s annual Christmas Fayre can help.

The Hartlepool Enterprise Centre’s Christmas Fayre takes place on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 of November from 10am until 3pm each day.

Businesses taking part include: Truly Scrumptious Cakes, Trading Treasures, Altered Images, Diamond Dolls Hair & Beauty, Clockworks, Duran Photography, Connoisseur Crafts, Exclusive Wall Art, Awoken and many more.

From pre-loved designer gowns and shrugs to dresses with matching jackets. They have full outfits to buy and hire alongside a selection of over 120 hats.

Karen Lynagh, owner of Trading Treasures, said: “Winter brides want to be elegant and wearing a beautiful dress, but don’t want to be shivering all throughout their big day.

“We often find our shrugs and wraps are the perfect accessory and can often be used to cover unwanted areas while keeping brides and guests snug and warm.”

To keep off the cold for winter brides, Trading Treasures provide a range of faux fur shrugs and a selection of wraps all available in white or ivory.

With the bride sorted, it’s now time to keep the soon-to-be mother-in-laws happy.

Karen continued: “For a winter wedding the mother of the bride or groom is best off going for a dress and matching jacket with a wool mix for the really cold months.

“We provide a range of top labels including Condici, Jaques Vert and John Charles, allowing family and guests to look great while keeping off the chill.”

Every wedding needs a good hat, from a sinamay (straw-like hat) to a crinoline hat which will never lose its shape. Trading Treasures can help visitors find their perfect headpiece.

Karen continued: “If you’re struggling to find exactly what you’re looking for we even make our own bespoke range ‘Treasures’ these can be designed and made to order within one month.”

Trading Treasures is open Tuesday 10am -7pm (call 01429 597205 for entry after 4.30pm) and Thursday/Friday 10am – 4pm. The company will also be at Hartlepool Enterprise Centre’s Annual Christmas Fayre on November 27 and 28.
