Underdogs Matrix APA beat corporate giants to win industry award!

Product design and procurement specialist Matrix APA, fought off global giants Vodafone and Sky to win a prestigious trophy at the European Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2014. The European Supply Chain Excellence Awards first opened its doors in 1997 to recognise and reward organisations in Europe that demonstrate excellence in the Supply Chain. Matrix APA, who create, source and deliver products to brands including British Airways, BBC, New Look and Inditex, were commended for their passion, enthusiasm and inspirational work delivered through their Social and Ethical programme. Their pro-active approach in driving transparency and improving labour conditions within the supply chain was deemed to be industry leading. Managing Director of Matrix APA Charlie Bradshaw comments ’‘As an SME, winning an award when pitching against major players such as Sky, Vodafone and part of the NHS Trust, is a tremendous achievement. It is testament to the passion and hard work our sourcing team continue to put into our social and ethical programme and it is a delight to be recognised.
