Advanced Computer Software Group ranked in top 300 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East
Advanced Computer Software Group (Advanced) has been ranked in the top 300 of Europe, Middle East and Africa’s fastest growing technology companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA Awards. The rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over a five-year period.
Advanced has grown its market capitalisation to approximately £725m in six years. The business employs more than 2,000 members of staff and is the third largest UK-based software and IT services provider to the UK market. Its half year results posted earlier this month revealed a 63% increase in profits.
The software sector represented 42% of the overall rankings in this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA. Advanced’s ranking comes a week after it was ranked in the UK’s top 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.
Vin Murria, CEO, Advanced Computer Software Group, said: “We are delighted to have featured within the top 300 growing companies and to be recognised as an international business success story. Our phenomenal growth over the past six years has been achieved by the dedication of the Advanced team as well as our successful strategy of organic growth and complementary acquisitions.”
David Halstead, Deloitte UK and partner in charge of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA programme, said: “Advanced and the other 2014 Technology Fast 500 winners are all forged in a highly competitive market, which has resulted in exceptional growth. We commend Advanced for this impressive accomplishment.”
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA ranking is the third award that Advanced has received in November. As well as being named in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 UK Awards, Advanced was also named
Tech Company of the Year at the UK Tech Awards. Advanced received the award for attaining commercial and financial success through its technological achievements.
Advanced provides software and services to both public and private sectors, which enable organisations to improve efficiency, reduce costs and drive growth.
