Fit Training expands to the North East BIC
One of the UK’s leading training providers to the fitness industry has located their office to the North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC).
Working with young people looking to get on the career ladder to fitness success, Fit Training was established in 2005.
Specialising in personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor qualifications for the industry, the company not only deliver courses in the region but have also secured contracts in Liverpool and London.
After visiting the BIC and seeing the space available, managing director, Janet Reveley knew that this was where she wanted to relocate her business to.
Janet said: “We weren’t just looking for accommodation we wanted other services we could tap into.
“As soon as we visited the BIC we knew immediately it was the place for Fit Training.
“It was the flexibility on offer, the easy to get to location, the lovely environment and when we saw the customer service we like to offer mirrored here at the BIC it became evident that this was the right place for us.
“The staff here are responsive and nothing is too much trouble. This is a place where we feel comfortable and can concentrate on moving forward. I really can’t speak highly enough of the facilities.
“We are working with schools to offer the opportunity for young people to come into our Fitness Academy on day release to study to become Gym Instructors, something they can do whilst also learning their school curriculum.
“I am excited to take Fit Training into the future from our new home.”
Senior space adviser at the BIC, Donna Surtees, added: “It was a pleasure to welcome Fit Training to our 14 acre site.
“As the BIC already have such a diverse range of businesses here I believe Fit Training will only add value to the mix. I wish Fit Training all the best.”
