Three million Manchester United shares up for sale
Manchester United announced that three million of its class A ordinary shares will be up for sale.
The shares belong to Edward Glazer who inherited them from his father in May.
Edward Glazer stands to make $45 million from the deal
The shares amount to around 2% of the company and represent around 15% of Edward Glazer’s holding according to BBC Sport.
Manchester United stated that it would not receive any proceeds from the sales with the offering expected to close on 12 December.
The shares are listed on the New York stock exchange under the symbol MANU
