Toluna Launches PanelPortalLight
Short-term branded communities can span as few as six months
Leading online research and survey technology provider, Toluna, today announced the launch of PanelPortal_Light_, its short-term branded panel product.
“PanelPortal powers more than 200 branded community panels worldwide. We’ve found that many companies understand the benefits that branded panels provide, but worry about the long-term vision and commitment required to move forward. We have launched this ‘trial’ or ‘short-term’ community to empower companies to embark on a branded community panel engagement,” says Julie Paul, SVP, Branded Communities, Toluna.
PanelPortal_Light_ can be launched within less than four weeks, and the user-interface is templatised, with many options, using a best-practices approach to website layout. The community can host up to 2,000 members and accommodates all PanelPortal engagement features.
“PanelPortal_Light_ is ideal for companies that wish to conduct a ‘proof-of-concept’ before embarking on a long-term agreement, or for companies that wish to engage in a community-approach for short-term use,” says Neil Dixit, Vice President of Technology, Toluna. “Many of our clients that leverage PanelPortal_Light_ consider extending their agreement within months of launch.”
Toluna’s Market Research Agency reseller clients are embracing this new approach to community panels. “Insights West is an avid user and fan of Toluna’s panel technology, and we know of several clients who will be immediately interested in PanelPortal_Light_ because of the ability to immediately trial and execute a community panel with all its benefits”, says Steve Mossop, President, Insights West.
