Voice staff give Cash for Kids an £8,000 boost

SHEFFIELD contact centre company Voice have raised more than £8,000 for the Hallam FM Cash for Kids campaign.

The company’s latest fundraiser saw team members at Voice’s sites in Woodseats and Broomhill turning up for work in their onesies and Christmas jumpers and taking on a whole day of money making schemes to boost their year-long campaign by a further £1,900.

An auction with prizes donated by 17 local businesses boosted the total by £480.

Team members also made substantial donations from their salaries direct to Hallam FM Cash for Kids, supported an in-house café serving home-made food and the bravest also took on a Bush Tucker Challenge, inspired by television hit I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

Hallam FM Cash for Kids charity aims to improve the lives of vulnerable children living in the South Yorkshire area by equipping individuals and communities with the recourses, skills and care that they are missing.

Abbigale Wallis, Marketing Communications Officer at Voice said: “Everybody at Voice is behind Hallam FM Cash for Kids, who regularly update us to let us know where our money is going and the difference it is making.

“We will be continuing our efforts to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity before the year is up.”

Louise Davies, Charity Manager at Hallam FM Cash for Kids said: “I am completely overwhelmed by the generosity of the staff at Voice and cannot thank them enough.

“£1,940 is an incredible amount and the money will be used to help lots of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in South Yorkshire.”
