UK’s largest holiday park operator launched fully responsive website

Park Resorts has officially designed and launched a fully responsive website to improve user experience when browsing on mobile and tablet devices.

This will help to position Park Resorts as one of the 15 top 50 travel companies to have a fully responsive website.

An additional nine South Lakeland parks are added to its already impressive catalogue of resorts, six of which are open for accommodation bookings and three of which are exclusively for private caravan owners.

Martin Abrams, Head of Digital at Park Resorts, commented:

“The challenge represented by the continuing growth of Mobile and Tablet traffic meant that creating a fully responsive website was of paramount importance for our users. The UK holiday park sector is behind the travel sector as a whole when it comes to the Mobile user experience and is currently falling short of user expectation.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of a fully responsive website, this represents a huge opportunity to use location based services and to join up the user journey across multiple devices in the future to further improve the experience of our user base.

“Furthermore, improvements to the design and user experience allow visitors to search and book a caravan or lodge holiday, whilst at the same time being just a click away from searching for a holiday home to purchase on one of our 48 holiday parks.”

Park Resorts is the UK’s largest holiday park operator with 48 sites across the country including lakeside, countryside and coastal locations offering some of the best “staycations” to families, tourists and couples.
