NorthEastBiz networkers surpass fundraising target ahead of Willow Wednesday Christmas Special

Wednesday, December 17th is the last Willow Wednesday networking event of the year. North East networking organisation NorthEastBiz, with the help of Barclays Business, has surpassed its fundraising target for 2014’s chosen charity, The Toby Henderson Trust (TTHT).

Ahead of the final NorthEastBiz event of 2014, which will have a generous Christmas Raffle, it looks as though the not-for-profit group’s networking activities this year stands to boost the coffers of Northumberland’s only Autism charity by well over £2,000.

Each time a networker attends a NorthEastBiz event, the difference between the cost of the venue and the attendance fee is added to the fund, so by networking with NorthEastBiz, each attendee is supporting a valued and important local cause.

As well as the financial donation at the end of the year, TTHT has also benefitted greatly from the donated services of some NorthEastBiz networkers, including IT specialists Coast Technology, HR consultant Jacky Beesley, virtual assistant Amanda Scurr, web development company DX Net Solutions and Dan Bond Presentation. The combined value of donated services and the money raised means that being chosen as the NorthEastBiz charity has had a very positive impact on The Toby Henderson Trust.

The final Willow Wednesday of the year aims to give the fundraising total a final boost with a good turnout and the annual Christmas raffle. The event takes place at the Willow Farm Pub Restaurant from 8-10am, with admission only £5 per person which includes made to order tea/coffee, fabulous muffins and free and easy parking. The Willow Farm Pub Restaurant is situated south of Cramlington off the A19 Between the Seaton Burn and Moor Farm roundabouts, take the B1319 slip road to Dudley, Willow Farm is on the south side roundabout next to the A19 just opposite the large Skoda Dealership and the Tommee Tippee site
