Everline launches new ‘smarter’ partnerships model for SMEs
Everline, the digital lender for small businesses, launches a new and innovative partners programme, Smart Partners, a collaborative network of businesses that integrates data and knowledge to help small businesses access the finance they need. The partnership also allows us to share insightful data with partners which can help inform marketing decisions.
Smart Partners includes likeminded organisations such as Rated People, Free Agent, Simply Business and Xero, which all share a collective goal of supporting SMEs with the aim of helping to grow their businesses. This collaborative approach will use securely integrated SME data as part of the lending decision process.
Andrea McGeachin, Head of Partnerships at Everline, explains: “At the heart of the Smart Partner initiative is a wish to help small businesses succeed by giving them access to the funding they need. The network is not just about sharing and integrating leads or running marketing campaigns; it focusses on using data and insights to help reach accurate and timely outcomes for customers.”
Everline’s Smart Partner initiative also allows businesses to provide customers with information on access to working capital and, in some cases, exclusive offers, enabling them to take advantage of time-sensitive deals or growth opportunities. The greater level of customer insight leads to additional partner benefit such as customer and market segmentation and more targeted marketing.
Its latest partner, Simply Business, has 300,000 small businesses in its network. Fiona McSwein, Chief Customer Officer at Simply Business said: “Every day we aim to simplify key business decisions for our customers through the specialised insurance cover we offer. We see the Everline partnership as an extension to this, as we aim to support our SME customers by simplifying processes, providing access to relevant financial products and helping them to grow. We launched our partnership with Everline with a dynamic customer competition, which has provided some strong insights into our customer base, helping us communicate with them even more effectively.”
Gary Turner, managing director, Xero comments: “Having Everline join Xero’s Add-On Marketplace will help empower and support our small business customers who want to make faster, safer and more intelligent decisions about their funding options. At the click of a button, business customers will be able to authorise their data held within Xero to allow for faster decision making resulting in a transparent loan offer”
