Neighbours get together to spread festive cheer

Residents of the Barratt Homes Vision development in Keighley enjoyed a get together on Sunday 14th December to spread festive cheer and encourage neighbours to get to know each other.

Henry Pettinger has lived at the Vision development for five months, and hosted the Christmas gathering to encourage a sense of community among his neighbours.

Speaking about the event, Henry commented: “I put on an event so those who wanted to could meet up, and Christmas was an ideal reason to do so!”

He added: “We had a get together on bonfire night earlier in the year which proved popular; between 20 and 30 people from Vision attended and it was great.’

Stacey Foster, Sales Manager at Barratt Yorkshire West’s Vision development, added: “We’re really pleased to see so many of the Vision residents getting together. A sense of community is very important and we hope they continue to hold similar events as it creates a lovely neighbourly feel at the development.”
