North Tyneside business, Elanders Ltd have invested £1 million in new digital printing equipment to expand their production capabilities.
The new equipment sees the expansion of digital printing facilities at the North Tyneside site and will give digital work production output a 25% boost.
The expansion within Elanders’ digital department includes two new HP presses which will add the ability to produce packaging materials digitally, as well as more adventurous marketing options for customers, including the use of white ink.
Managing Director, Kevin Rogers commented; “We’ve listened to our customers’ needs and found that what is important to them is a supplier who can offer more from under one roof”.
“For a long time we’ve been working with customers on various projects that have included short run print, personalised print and other work that has made the most of digital printing.
“Now, with the addition of the two new digital presses, we have not only updated our machinery, but we have added the capacity for digital packaging and the use of white ink, which produces outstanding results for materials that are designed to have an impact. The quality of print is unrivalled too”.
