Barley & Beans to celebrate its first Christmas
One of Hatton Garden’s newest coffee lounge and bars is gearing up for its first Christmas in Liverpool.
In line with the seasonal festivities, Barley & Beans is serving a selection of yuletide beverages including winter warmer mulled wine and cider, as well as celebratory cocktails.
Director Nick Strauss said: “With it being our first Christmas in Liverpool, we wanted to celebrate Christmas in true Barely & Beans style.
“For those who want to relax and unwind after a busy day at work or Christmas shopping, the mulled wine/cider is the perfect choice. For those wanting a merry drink with friends, family or work colleagues, the cocktails will undoubtedly go down a treat.“
Served in a tea light warmer, the mulled wine and cider are heated at the table to allow the spiced orange and cinnamon flavours to immerse and offer a true taste of Christmas. Likewise, the assortment of festive cocktails also feature traditional Christmas colouring and nostalgic tastes.
Nick added: “As Barley & Beans is renowned for its quirkiness and forward thinking, our festive offerings aim to reflect this. We hope that the Christmas additions, which will be served throughout December, will add to the seasonal merriments across the city.
“To keep things fresh, we are continuously coming up with interesting and novel food and beverages ideas, therefore we will be introducing an array of exciting new offerings in the New Year so watch this space!“
