#23 Be ready for returns
Christmas is the time of giving but with a flood of people buying presents comes an influx of people potentially returning items. You may already have a returns system in place, however it’s important to ensure exchanges or returns can be fulfilled efficiently to increase customer satisfaction while ensuring you don’t lose profits made in the run-up to 25 December.
To effectively manage your customers’ returns experience, consider providing return labels or extending your returns and exchange policy. For example, if an item was bought anytime in December it could be returned or exchanged up until 31 January.
