North East estate agent offers to sell houses free of charge

A national estate agent, who is predicting a positive year for the housing market in 2015, is starting the year by offering to sell houses free of charge.

Your DezRez which is based in the North East, is a hybrid between a traditional estate agent and an online estate agent, believes it is the first estate agent in the UK to offer a “sell your house for free” service for properties located anywhere in the UK, saving vendors thousands of pounds.

As part of the service, which will run throughout January, vendors will see their property marketed on Rightmove within minutes of approval of the particulars of sale.

Vendors will be asked to use the independent mortgage broker and/or solicitors recommended by Your DezRez and/or the recommended EPC agents should they need a certificate for their property.

Your DezRez Managing Director James Williams said: “Whilst it is true that prices are dropping in London and surrounding areas, most other areas have stayed strong with good viewing and offer levels.

“I think 2015 will be a positive year for the housing market with slow price rises across the country while London will likely see peaks and troughs throughout the year.”

Your DezRez already offers a ‘let your house for free’ service to landlords and is now introducing a ‘sell your house for free’ service.

James said: “We’re not just an online estate agent, as we offer the service associated with a high-street estate agent as people want this personal service and attention to detail with the lower fees associated with selling your house online.

“We’ve put this package together to make it quick and easy for vendors to sell their properties and to save them money at the same time.

“Our solicitors, independent mortgage brokers and EPC agents are all reputable and price competitive.

“Vendors only have to use one of the three to qualify for this offer but if they want to use their own suppliers for these services, we can still offer a range of low-priced options for them to sell their property with us.”
