Growing Gateshead insurance company expands services
Growing North East based insurance broker, NC Insurance has announced further expansion with the launch of a specialist service to provide insurance for third sector organisations.
ThirdSectorProtect will work with ethical insurers in order to provide expert advice and highly competitive premiums to charities, social enterprises, community interest companies and community groups.
Initially, the team will consist of four third sector specialists who will be based in Gateshead where NC Insurance is headquartered.
ThirdSectorProtect has worked nationally with clients such as Rape Crisis, The National Police Memorial Day Trust, the Nuclear Institute and various Age UK and Shopmobility branches, as well as regional clients such as New Prospects Association in Whitley Bay, Azure Charitable Enterprises in Cramlington and Bright Red which is based in the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.
Director at NC Insurance and former president of the Insurance Institute of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Richard Talbot-Jones, will lead the ThirdSectorProtect team.
Richard said: “We have many years’ experience dealing with third sector clients and our team of qualified and ethical insurance brokers genuinely care about our clients and the third sector. They’ve proved their commitment to the sector by raising money, volunteering for and acting as trustees.
“We’ve worked diligently with our insurance partners to understand the needs of organisations operating in the third sector.
“Our offering is now amongst the best available for UK charities and other not-for-profit companies and the launch of a dedicated brand in ThirdSectorProtect is testament to our commitment to the sector.”
