Merseyside Vimto producer report sales of £113.6 million
Newton-le-Willows Nichols, producer of Vimto, report sales of £113.6 million an increase of 3.4% compared to last year.
The Merseyside company report that its UK sales grew ahead of the market and international sales have seen double digit growth.
Nichols said that the positive results are due to a rebrand and new advertising campaign that have meant their Vimto product has out performed other drinks in the market.
In its trading statement the company said, “In summary, 2014 has been another successful year for the Group.
“Our key Vimto brand has outperformed the UK soft drinks market and we have delivered good growth in our international business.
“We expect the full year profit and earnings per share to be ahead of the prior year and at least in line with management expectations.”
