Hebburn cutting tool supplier purchases new premises and creates new jobs with NatWest support

Advanced Cutting Tools has created new jobs after purchasing new premises with NatWest support.

Located in Hebburn, Advanced Cutting Tools supplies cutting tools and technical support services to customers throughout the North East of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This includes providing bespoke cutting tools products, programming capabilities, technical support and training for specialist projects.

Advanced Cutting Tools also offers the Supply Pro vending solutions which allows customers to manage cutting tool usage through an automated dispensing system.

As the manufacturing industry has improved following the recent economic downturn, Advanced Cutting Tools has taken on new staff to support its growing customer base. Michael McCann has been appointed to the role of technical director and Esther McHugh is the business’ new account manager. Up to four new jobs are to be created this year.

Advanced Cutting Tools has also purchased new trading premises with funding support from NatWest relationship director Mike Cross who obtained a six-figure loan for the purchase. Baker Tilly offered advice on the transaction.

Managing director, Michael Richardson, said: “Advanced Cutting Tools is a one-stop-shop for customers needing cutting tools for a range of projects and jobs.

“We can supply a range of options to customers and with the vending solutions we can offer a great deal of flexibility.

“Mike has been great to work with. He has kept in touch with us about lending and found the right funding solution for our business needs.

“Advanced Cutting Tools is a great business offering a bespoke service to a range of customers in the region. I was delighted to support the business and I wish it every success for the future.”
