Garforth-based Ginetta announces partnership with Global Brands

Garforth-based Ginetta can today confirm a multifaceted partnership with leading drinks business Global Brands, which includes title sponsorship of the newly rebranded KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship, a stake in the 2015 Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup and a driver entry into both series.

Following a successful trial sponsorship during the Silverstone and Brands Hatch rounds of the KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship – which was the largest support race grid to the British Touring Car Championship throughout 2014 - the international brand has confirmed their intentions to remain as title sponsor for the series throughout 2015.

In addition, the alliance allows Global Brands to further strengthen their ties within motorsport, as all Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup competitors will run the Amigo Tequila Flavoured Beer branding within their championship decals, and Global Brands founder Steve Perez and his son Sebastian Perez will both compete behind the wheel of a Ginetta.

Steve Perez has confirmed his entry into the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup, whilst his son Sebastian will contest a full season in the KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship, following a successful debut in two rounds of the main championship as well as the KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Winter Series.
