Carter Jonas buys two Cambridge agencies
National property consultancy Carter Jonas, which has four offices in the region at Leeds, York, Harrogate and Boroughbridge, continues to expand.
The firm is acquiring two Cambridge based property companies and associated development land business: commercial and planning consultants Januarys and residential sales and lettings agency Bradshaws – both part of the New Square Holdings Group.
The acquisition, effective from 30 January 2015, follows the acquisition of London-based Planning Perspectives in 2013.
Carter Jonas manages a million acres of farmland nationally (more than 170,000 acres in Yorkshire) and has a turnover of £34.2m.
Comments Yorkshire-based Carter Jonas chief executive Mark Granger: “This latest deal firmly establishes Carter Jonas as a market leader in the East of the country at a time when the area continues to attract investors and multi-national companies to its thriving economy.”
