Jason Reek (43) has almost 25 years experience in transport and logistics and will head up Europa’s £20m centre at ProLogis Park, Minworth in Birmingham.
Jason commented “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with the existing team here in Birmingham at a dynamic time for both Europa and the logistics sector. I was really attracted to Europa by the personality and tight structure of the operation and I’m looking forward to contributing to the success of the Birmingham site.”
Europa offers a sophisticated range of high quality logistics and warehousing services throughout the UK at three sites in Birmingham, Erith and Northampton. In total the business operates 500,000 sqft of space incorporating a multitude of warehousing and logistics services which is soon to increase further with the opening of a new (250,000 sqft) brand new head office and South of England hub, based at Prologis Park in Littlebrook, to open in the Spring.
Richard Cronk, Logistics Director at Europa added: “Jason’s appointment comes at a time when we can see the market for niche third party logistics is continuing to expand, as customers continue to focus upon simplifying their businesses and outsourcing their logistics. Jason brings a wealth of management and transport experience to help strengthen our team further.”
