Manchester Arena appoint Tresamo

Manchester Arena have appointed Tresamo Media as their retained social media management agency.

Having welcomed 1,045,783 visitors across 122 events in 2014, Manchester Arena have tasked Tresamo with using social media to promote the arena to a wider audience.

Event Marketing & PR Manager at Manchester Arena Matt Ward said: “Tresamo are industry leaders in what they do.

“Their “hands on” approach to our brief, demonstrating how we can best engage with audiences through social is what won them the contract.”

Head of Digital at Tresamo Daniel Kidd, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to work with such a prestigious venue.

“2015 will mark Manchester Arena’s 20th anniversary and we will be developing a comprehensive strategy that will not only deliver more event-driven conversations with arena fans, but also celebrate Manchester Arena’s key role in Manchester’s economic and cultural landscape for the last two decades.

“The first #WeAreManchester campaign will see us work alongside local artists and charities on a number of projects over the coming months”
