Prime launches 'Prime Pitch' competition
Manchester-based training and sales recruitment company Prime has launched its ‘Prime Pitch’ competition, with Apprentice finalist Neil Clough challenging the North West’s sales people to claim the title of the ‘North West’s Prime Pitch’.
In the style of the blockbuster 2014 film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, applicants will be challenged to produce a 15 second Instagram “sell me this umbrella” video. This entry can then be tweeted to @worldofprime using the hashtag #primepitch or emailed to hello@thisisprime.co.uk.
Prime, launched in October 2014, was set up to revolutionise the way people view sales recruitment. The company delivers a complete sales recruitment solution, recruiting and training sales people across all industry sectors. The business offers seven days expert sales training, including tailoring training to a specific sector, with a view to reducing the high turnover often seen in the sales industry.
Following his appearance on The Apprentice, which saw him break a record for the highest sales made on an individual task, Neil Clough has launched the ‘Prime Pitch’ competition to seek out the North West’s best salesperson.
Clough said: “Prime is a business set up to change the way that people view sales, and as a proud Northerner, I strongly believe that the region has some of the best talent in the country. With this in mind, I wanted to set up a challenge for the North West’s business people to demonstrate their skills and challenge the idea that London dominates the market.
“Being based in Manchester, an umbrella is an item we are all familiar with. However, selling one in 15 seconds is certainly a challenging task, and I’m looking forward to taking a look at the entries and crowning the ‘North West’s Prime Pitch’.”
