North East PR business set to relocate to Blyth Workspace

The landmark new development, which will be known as Blyth Workspace, is due to open for business in March and it’s welcoming a PR business to its Blyth shores.

Round Table Solutions will be the first tenant to secure a sea view office at the Workspace. This public relations and marketing agency was established in 2013 by the former corporate affairs director at Rio Tinto Alcan, John McCabe.

Round Table Solutions works with local and national clients across the private and public sectors providing support in media relations, stakeholder engagement, community affairs and in building brand awareness.

The firm is relocating to this thriving new location as a result of rapid growth and new business wins.

Blyth Workspace consists of first-class, contemporary managed offices in a striking quayside location, it is a highly energy efficient building, with state-of-the-art facilities, professional reception, dedicated super-fast broadband, free parking, rapid electric car charging points, and 24/7 security services including CCTV.

Businesses can also benefit from 5 years free business rates, as the building is located in an Enterprise Zone.

The workspace will help to regenerate the long term vacant site and help to enhance Blyth Estuary’s reputation as a centre of excellence in energy and research.

Nestled between the Port of Blyth and Narec and adjacent to the desirable area of Ridley Park, the superb new serviced office accommodation consists of approx. 1,950 sq. m (21,000 sq. ft.) of high quality new office space to let with a range of office sizes from 20 sqm to 100 sqm, meeting and events spaces, high quality landscaping and access.

Over the next three years Arch, The Northumberland Development Company is leading the delivery of a mixed use development of the wider Commissioners Quay site as part of the broader regeneration of Blyth Estuary and town centre.

Round Table Solutions’ head of client services, Joanne Hunter, said: “Our move into Blyth Workspace is a key part of Round Table Solutions’ growth strategy.

“We’ve had an eye on the building since construction started and it’s been very exciting to see how Arch has developed this fantastic, modern workplace.

“Two years on from the launch of Round Table Solutions we really need larger premises to accommodate our expansion and this office is ideal.

“I’m really looking forward to welcoming clients into the new office and I’m sure they’ll enjoy the space, the views and the atmosphere as much as we will.”

Deputy Leader of Northumberland County Council and chair of Arch, Cllr Dave Ledger, said: “We are delighted that Round Table Solutions will locate to Blyth Workspace to house their expanding business.

“The workspace will not only enhance the regeneration of the Blyth Estuary and provide a destination of choice on the Quayside, it will bring jobs to the local area and is instrumental in effecting the revival of Blyth’s riverfront by creating the potential for attracting substantial inward investment.”
